Period Property Restoration

Victorian, Georgian, Edwardian and earlier properties have specific needs — lime mortar and plaster, sash window restoration, breathable build-ups, and a sensitivity to original features worth preserving. We work routinely on period properties and combine modern performance upgrades with respect for the fabric and character that makes these homes worth restoring in the first place.

Listed Building Works

Listed buildings require conservation-grade workmanship and Listed Building Consent for most meaningful works. We work alongside conservation officers, heritage consultants and specialist trades to deliver works that meet both the client's needs and the heritage obligations of the property.

Kitchen and Bathroom Renovations

Single-room or multi-room remodelling where the rest of the house is staying. Delivered as a contained package with clear programme, minimal disruption and full protection of the adjoining spaces.

Structural Renovations

Removing walls, installing steels, creating open-plan living, reconfiguring layouts. Delivered with a structural engineer on board, proper temporary works and building control sign-off. The difference between a good structural renovation and a bad one is invisible in the finished space — but it shows up ten years later.

Living In vs Moving Out

A question every renovating homeowner asks: can we stay in the house? The honest answer is: sometimes. For substantial renovations we strongly recommend moving out for the duration of the works — it is faster, cheaper, safer and saves a lot of stress. For smaller projects, staged room-by-room delivery with proper dust protection is workable. We will give you a straight answer for your specific project.
